Ohio Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to support care management and deliver engaging programs for residents. The role focuses on activities that meet residents' interests and promote physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

The position coordinates events, assists with crafts, and helps with transportation to activities. It requires a high school diploma and English proficiency, with preferred prior experience in long-term care or healthcare settings.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year activities experience preferred.
• Two years experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Mansioni

• Provide programming that meets residents’ interests and well-being.
• Encourage residents to participate in hobbies and crafts.
• Assist bed-bound residents with activities and provide materials.
• Lead and coordinate activities and family communications.
• Develop and oversee activity plans and ensure timely documentation.
• Attend meetings and coordinate supplies and equipment as needed.
