Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as the subject matter expert and solution architect for instructor-led and virtual training offerings. You will collaborate with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, and Delivery teams to design scalable learning solutions that drive workforce transformation and business outcomes.

The role requires strong consultative skills, deep knowledge of learning products, and experience shaping live training strategies for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, HR, L&D, or related field.
• 5+ years in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, or related areas.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor-led and virtual training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead as primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities with enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify objectives, challenges, learner audiences, and success metrics.
• Translate requirements into scalable live training solutions, learning journeys, and implementation approaches.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales during qualification, proposals, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrate the value of live training within workforce transformation programs.
• Develop tailored recommendations balancing outcomes, delivery feasibility, and commercial objectives.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pearson's instructor‑led training, virtual delivery, and certification programs.
• Act as a SME for live training products and learning pathways.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify market opportunities and portfolio enhancements.
• Support development of repeatable solution bundles and go‑to‑market offerings.
• Contribute to sales enablement assets and client‑facing collateral.
