Job summary

Pearson in the United States seeks a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to serve as SME and solution architect for instructor-led and virtual training, partnering across Sales, Product Management, Training Operations, Client Partners, and Delivery to design scalable learning solutions.

The role focuses on positioning, packaging, and operationalizing live training offerings across Pearson's enterprise portfolio, aligning with workforce transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, learning & development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, consulting, solution architecture, or workforce development.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution definition efforts for Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and pricing discussions.
• Support deal qualification and opportunity strategy sessions.
• Create executive-ready presentations, solution overviews, and implementation recommendations.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Delivery teams to ensure commercial and operational alignment.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Delivery, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Provide internal training and enablement on live training offerings.
• Share customer insights and market trends to influence future product strategy.
