Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking an experienced line cook to properly prepare and cook all food items in a fast-paced casino kitchen, following standardized recipes and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and timely plating while maintaining sanitation. Experience with Asian cuisine is preferred, and staff collaborate closely with culinary management to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years experience as a line cook, preferably in an Asian restaurant.
• Must comply with state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Responsibilities

• Produce from standardized recipes.
• Prepare, portion, and cook food accordingly.
• Ensure stations are prepared for anticipated business levels.
• Complete daily cleaning duties following sanitation guidelines.
• Handle high-volume cooking and plating in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure high quality, timely service and safe, sanitary conditions.
• Follow safety procedures to protect staff.
• Operate under supervision of culinary management.
• Promote teamwork and quality service with other departments.
• Interact with guests occasionally.
• Adhere to appearance standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism reflecting the brand.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
