Job summary

Grüns is hiring a Senior Manager, Retention and Lifecycle to own the lifecycle program end to end. You will drive AI-driven testing, personalization, and cross-channel campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail) from welcome to winback, scaling to an always-on system in a remote HQ setup.

You will lead an offshore production team, build data-enriched decisioning, and partner with ecomm, data, and CX to maximize subscriber lifetime value. This role emphasizes ownership, speed, and high craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in-house lifecycle/CRM ownership at a consumer subscription brand.
• Experience owning automated flows and one-off campaigns across email and SMS.
• Structured testing roadmap with holdouts and measurable incremental impact.
• Hands-on experience with personalization or data enrichment tools.
• Uses AI to build, test, send, and report.
• Bonus: experience in subscription and retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Own 1:1 personalization across every channel today and future tests.
• Run end-to-end automated lifecycle flows from welcome to cross-sell.
• Shift program to an always-on system that tests and optimizes itself.
• Build email/SMS list growth beyond on-site capture.
• Evaluate tools to enrich data and drive decisions on timing and channel.
• Lead offshore production team to automate output and reduce manual work.
