Job summary

Grüns is hiring a Senior Manager, Retention and Lifecycle to own our lifecycle program end to end across email, SMS, and other channels. You will move us from manual campaigns to an always-on, AI-driven testing engine, with hands-on work on personalization and data enrichment.

You'll lead an offshore production team, scale our one-to-one messaging, and drive cross-functional collaboration with ecommerce, CX, data, and paid media.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in-house owning lifecycle, retention, or CRM at a consumer subscription brand.
• Owned both automated flows and one-off campaigns across email and SMS, end-to-end.
• Implemented personalization or data enrichment tools, not just briefed others.
• Used AI as a core part of building, testing, sending, and reporting.
• Bonus: experience in both subscription and retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle programs across welcome, post-purchase, billing reminders, cancel/winback, and cross-sell.
• Shift campaigns to an always-on, AI-driven testing engine with measurable impact.
• Lead list-growth initiatives to expand email and SMS opt-ins.
• Evaluate and implement tools to enrich customer data and drive real decisions on messaging.
• Direct an offshore production team to automate workflows and reduce manual output.
