Qualifications

Extensive life underwriting expertise with authority on complex cases.
Minimum 5 years leading teams and managing complex decisions.
Experience with automated underwriting platforms (RHO, PIA) and quality control.
Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to collaborate with reinsurers/vendors.
Coaching underwriters to build digital fluency and adopt new tools/workflows.

Responsibilities

Provide expert judgment on highly complex cases, ensuring guideline consistency.
Oversee adjudication during peak volumes and promote analytics usage.
Lead and develop underwriter teams, set priorities, ensure SLA adherence.
Leverage dashboards to monitor mortality, placement, cycle time, and referrals; drive improvements.
