Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Director/Senior Director, Industry Strategist for the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub. This role blends deep industry insight with hands-on implementation to accelerate customer outcomes across SF-led and partner programs.

You will map life sciences processes to product capabilities, shape GTM strategy, and educate Sales, Industry Advisor, and Services Sales teams. Executive presence and autonomy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of life sciences/commercial pharma with deep domain expertise (12+ preferred for Senior Director).
• Extensive experience implementing CRM solutions in commercial pharma or advising IT teams on CRM implementations.
• Ability to map ecosystem roles/personas to product capabilities and identify capability gaps.
• Deep working knowledge of life sciences regulatory requirements and how they shape implementation approaches.
• Track record leading or advising implementation programs in strategist, consulting, or product ownership roles.
• Experience coaching consultants, partners, or sales teams; collaboration with value-engineering functions.
• Strong executive presence; capable of synthesizing industry dynamics for C-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set the industry point-of-view strategy on trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning.
• Partner with product, engineering, customer success, and sales leadership to map customer journeys to product capabilities.
• Map personas to product capabilities, defining business processes for key customer personas with reusable templates.
• Guide builder teams to create usable industry accelerators and delivery artifacts and drive adoption.
• Advise and challenge executives toward modern approaches that maintain required capabilities and compliance.
• Coach partners and Salesforce consultants on industry best practices; educate sales teams on value.
• Shape business value narratives with Business Value Services and translate outputs into measurement frameworks.
• Connect insights to future product direction; influence product roadmap via post-implementation evaluation.
• Contribute to global GTM strategy and educate Sales, Industry Advisor, and Services Sales teams.
• Collaborate with product marketing on industry-specific value propositions and enablement content.
• Represent Salesforce as an external thought leader through webinars, talks, and advisory boards.
• Own reporting on implementation velocity, accelerator adoption, and delivery insights across programs.
• Deliver polished, high-impact updates to internal leadership and external customer executives.
