Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Principal, Commercial Life Sciences Solutions to help Life Sciences customers understand, design, and adopt high-value data connectivity solutions across commercial, medical, market access, and real-world data use cases.

The role is highly customer-facing, requires deep pharma data expertise, and involves partnering with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Product, Privacy, Legal, and Delivery to shape strategy, scope opportunities, and translate business needs into executable

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical commercial strategy, analytics, or related fields.
Strong fluency in real-world data and linked data use cases (claims, EHR, etc.).
Ability to translate complex data and privacy concepts into business language.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel for strategic meetings and events.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior commercial pharma subject matter expert for Datavant’s Life Sciences go-to-market team with pre-sales focus.
Partner with sales, solutions consulting, product, and delivery teams to shape customer strategies.
Lead discovery with pharmaceutical customers to understand objectives, data assets, and privacy requirements.
Design solution approaches leveraging privacy-preserving linkage, tokenization, and data connectivity.
Create reusable GTM assets and playbooks for customer-facing enablement.
