Swiss Re is seeking a sharp Life & Health underwriter for U.S. coverage, with evidence-based risk selection and client collaboration. You’ll work across medical, financial, and product risk while aligning with governance considerations and service standards.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Life & Health Underwriting experience with risk selection and case management.
• FLMI and/or FALU designation, or active progress toward earning one.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for complex risk factors.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled underwriting tools and digital resources.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities to balance workload.

Responsabilidades

• Apply disciplined, evidence-based risk selection across medical, non-medical, financial, product, market, and governance considerations.
• Escalate complex or unusual matters and apply guidelines in a commercially sound way.
• Partner with clients and internal cross-functional teams to provide underwriting expertise via phone and email.
• Promote Life Guide and stay current on updates to assist clients with guidance.
• Participate in client underwriting seminars, webinars, and industry engagement to strengthen relationships.
• Support a culture of continuous learning through internal training and forums.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core insurance products, legislation, taxation, risk principles, tools, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Travel as needed (approx. 10% or less) for internal meetings and client engagements.
