Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressively responsible disability claims experience.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to train/motivate staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with disability policy/contract language interpretation.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and local disability regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, hire, train, retain and motivate a team of claims professionals.
• Ensure operations comply with federal and state requirements.
• Develop client relationships and collaborate with partners.
• Monitor metrics and adjust tactics to improve efficiency.
• Support policy/procedure development and systems.
• Conduct training sessions and audits.
• Participate in client prospecting and implementation.
