Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible disability claims experience.
• Ability to train and motivate employees.
• Licenses as required by the Claims Licensing Policy.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local disability regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of claims professionals.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Evaluates and improves team efficiency and client relationships.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners on client blocks of business.
• Addresses client complaints promptly per service standards.
• Uses metrics to track trends and adjust tactics.
• Supports development and communication of policies and systems.
