Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Claims Support Specialist to handle life claim inquiries and processing. You will work with beneficiaries, financial representatives, attorneys and funeral homes across multiple systems to research policies and determine eligibility.

You will create and track death claims, assign claim numbers, and coordinate with Life Examiners while delivering accurate information and timely service to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with customer service experience.
• Ability to research policies and verify insured information.
• Experience handling sensitive life insurance claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails from beneficiaries and representatives regarding life claims.
• Create and process death claims across AWD and related systems.
• Verify insured information and in-force policies, suspending as needed.
• Assign claim numbers and route work to Life Examiners.
