Qualifications

• Six years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling.
• Must obtain Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire where applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Professional designations preferred (e.g. CPCU).

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of highly complex commercial claims with large exposures and coordinates investigations and disbursements.
• Provides exceptional customer service by updating insureds, claimants and partners and meeting quality and cycle time standards.
• Verifies coverage and establishes reserves by reviewing policy language and consulting with coverage counsel as needed.
• Leads focused investigations to determine compensability and damages, gathering documents and statements.
