Job summary

Travelers is seeking a claims professional in the United States to investigate, evaluate, reserve and resolve Specialty Liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. You will manage a full claim lifecycle with quality service and timely coverage analysis, engaging with policyholders, witnesses, and experts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of liability claim handling experience and/or comparable litigation claim experience.
• Acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required within three months of starting the job.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severity claims with quality customer service and timely coverage analysis.
• Investigates claims with appropriate parties to determine liability, damages and contribution.
• Develops litigation plans, discusses with counsel, and manages legal expenses for effective resolutions.
• Negotiates dispositions with insureds and claimants or their representatives.
• Keeps claim files and documentation in accordance with procedures and quality standards.
