Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Morristown, NJ is seeking an experienced Specialty Liability claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve and resolve Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. You will manage the claim lifecycle with adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years' liability claim experience, strong negotiation and litigation knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and license(s) may be required to comply with state requirements.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills with knowledge of liability, coverage and damages.
• Experience handling complex liability claims and understanding litigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned liability claims through the full life cycle.
• Investigates, evaluates, reserves and negotiates settlements with insureds and claimants.
• Coordinates with internal and external resources for claim resolution and compliance.
• Manages litigation strategies and tracks legal expenses for cost-effective resolution.
