Job summary

Travelers is seeking a qualified Claim professional in the United States to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve Specialty Liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. You will provide guidance to field teams, manage litigation plans, and ensure compliance with quality standards and state regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree, at least 2 years of liability claim handling experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years business experience.
• Advanced level knowledge in claim and litigation.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned claims.
• Investigates claims with relevant parties to determine liability and damages.
• Maintains claim files and ensures timely coverage analysis.
• Negotiates dispositions with insureds and claimants or their representatives.
• Manages litigation planning and costs to achieve effective resolutions.
• Presents at roundtables and collaborates with experts to improve payout results.
