Job summary

Travelers is seeking a claims professional to investigate, evaluate and resolve general liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely coverage analysis and active engagement with policyholders, claimants and witnesses.

You will manage complex cases, coordinate with counsel and experts, and ensure adherence to quality standards while maintaining efficient diary management and reserves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years bodily injury liability claim handling and/or litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of coverage, contract interpretation and liability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severe claims and ensures timely coverage analysis.
• Investigates and negotiates dispositions with insureds, claimants or their counsel.
• Delegates to appropriate internal/external resources to evaluate liability and damages.
• Maintains claim files and communicates updates to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
