Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Lending Administration Manager to lead the Lending Administration Department's workflows, ensuring policy, regulatory, and quality standards are met across the team. You will review outputs, coordinate with Lending, Credit, Operations, Compliance, and Technology, and drive process improvements while supporting audit and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in Credit Administration or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations and lending products.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern day-to-day execution of Lending Administration workflow, ensuring outputs meet policy, regulatory, and quality requirements; provide formal review/approval where required and ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
• Oversee reporting and analytics for workflow performance; use insights to manage priorities, improve throughput, and drive consistent execution.
• Lead in ensuring process controls and governance expectations are embedded and operating effectively; coordinate responses to audit/control inquiries.
• Partner with Lending, Credit, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve systemic issues and implement procedural/tooling changes; drive adoption of process improvements and ensure team training and adherence.
• May lead and develop a dedicated program and/or framework to operate.
