Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Lending Administration Manager in the Chandler, AZ area to lead governance of lending workflows, coordinate across lending teams, and drive process improvements that ensure policy and regulatory compliance. The role also involves reviewing others, leading workstreams, and partnering with Compliance, IT, and Operations to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in Credit Administration or similar field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit-related discipline with experience with a variety of lending products and segments.
• Independent problem-solving, adaptability to changing priorities, urgency in delivery across projects, and strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern day-to-day execution of Lending Administration workflow, ensuring outputs meet policy, regulatory, and quality requirements; provide formal review/approval where required and ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
• Oversee reporting and analytics for workflow performance (capacity, service levels, exceptions, quality); use insights to manage priorities, improve throughput, and drive consistent execution across the program and/or team.
• Lead in ensuring process controls and governance expectations are embedded and operating effectively (e.g., documentation standards, evidence retention, SOX/control testing support); coordinate responses to audit/control inquiries for the team's scope.
• Partner with Lending, Credit, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve systemic issues and implement procedural/tooling changes; drive adoption of process improvements and ensure team training and adherence.
• May lead and develop a dedicated program and/or framework to operate.
