Senior Learning & Development Strategist

Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks a Learning & Development professional to deliver education and training across Memphis, TN, and Harrison, AR locations, coordinating schedules and ensuring impactful learning experiences.

You will work with instructional designers, lead trainer workshops, mentor senior specialists, and partner with leadership to align education strategies with business goals; travel to FedEx Freight locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resource management, education, or related field; plus five years' experience in training facilitation and coaching.
• Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers.
• Professional certification in coaching, leadership development or related discipline (preferred).
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Operations technology systems.
• Ability to work with employees and management across all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor led classes and specialty training assignments (i.e. operation certifications, technical training, etc.)
• Identify learning needs, prescribe, and deliver education and training plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education solutions as measured by operational tools and reports; monitor learning transfer.
• Lead and coordinate Train-the-Trainer workshops for Delivery team readiness
• Mentor and coach Learning & Development Specialists and Sr. Specialists
• Provide support to leadership level across all the regions
• May provide support to international counterparts based on business needs request
• Develop and present education strategies, proposals, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Work closely with instructional designers and developers, providing insight to promote deeper learning transfer
• Lead and/or participate on committees or projects as assigned
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other assignments (duties) as required
