FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks a senior training leader to design and implement advanced sales training strategies at the enterprise level. You will consult with sales leadership, mentor staff, and drive cross-functional initiatives across regions, with autonomy and influence.
The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least five years in training or instructional design, plus strong facilitation and project management skills. Location: Memphis area; some travel expected.
This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in MHQ-Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.
Leads the design and implementation of advanced sales training strategies. Acts as a consultant to sales leadership, ensuring training programs drive performance and align with business goals. Lead enterprise-level training initiatives with broad impact across multiple sales teams or regions. Provides strategic input and guidance to leadership and mentors junior staff. Operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field.
Five (5) years in training, sales support, or instructional design.
Some travel required
Sales experience, preferably in B2B or consultative selling. Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training. Strong knowledge of core sales skills and sales processes. Ability to translate concepts into practical, real-world application. Strong presentation, communication, project mgmt, and facilitation skills. Experience with CRM/sales tools; freight or logistics knowledge is a plus.
