Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehousing Senior Industrial Engineer (E-commerce) in Etna, OH to lead continuous improvement across operations.

You will apply CI methods, analyze data, and drive automation to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost while interfacing with management and customers. Responsibilities include developing and executing transformation plans, coaching teams on lean principles, and supporting go-live certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and 5+ years in Warehousing/Transportation/Manufacturing
• Master’s degree with 3 years experience if MB A; otherwise undergrad engineering degree
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau) and SQL knowledge
• Experience leading cross-functional CI projects and Lean methods
• Knowledge of CAD/slotting tools and WMS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Apply continuous improvement methods to support new and existing operations.
• Drive change via data-driven CI, engineering, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop and manage CI plans; execute transformation and sustainment.
• Lead Go-Live and steady-state certifications; support automation projects.
• Coach teams on lean principles and CI methods; generate regular performance reports.
• Interact with operations management and customers to implement improvements.
