Job summary

Rivian seeks a collaborative People Operations strategist to map complex processes and lead AI-enabled transformations across the employee lifecycle. You’ll partner with IT, Data, and HR leaders to translate business needs into Workday-enabled solutions and measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and scale across a 14,000+ global workforce.

In this role you’ll design practical standards, build prototypes, and drive adoption through cross-functional facilitation, governance, and change

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR transformation, or related fields.
• Fluency with Workday and AI tools for process design and implementation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Map processes end-to-end and surface real problems, including handoffs and exceptions.
• Define design standards and governance to enable scalable execution.
• Identify friction and lead simplification to reduce cycle times and errors.
• Design AI-enabled process solutions using Workday and AI agents.
• Translate workflows into clear engineering requirements for IT partners.
• Build working prototypes with HR leaders to validate concepts.
• Scope automation opportunities with ROI, and provide business cases.
• Measure impact with baseline/target metrics and dashboards.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive change management.
