Job summary

Rivian is seeking a seasoned professional to map broken People processes and design AI-assisted future-state solutions. You’ll bridge Rivian’s People operations with IT, Data, and Engineering to scale a 14,000+ workforce globally across manufacturing, commercial, and corporate teams.

You will drive process redesign, AI-enabled enablement, and measurable business impact while partnering with HR leaders and enterprise technology teams. This role emphasizes hands-on execution and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR transformation, process excellence, or management consulting in scaling organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday — translate process problems into Workday-based solutions and write requirements.

Responsibilities

• Map processes end-to-end across People initiatives and surface real problems across teams.
• Define process design, documentation, handoff, and governance standards.
• Identify and eliminate friction to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Design AI-and-Workday-enabled process solutions and prototype where helpful.
• Translate maps into actionable system requirements for Workday, ServiceNow, iCIMS, and related tools.
• Build working prototypes and automation alongside HR leaders.
• Identify automation opportunities and build business cases with effort estimates and savings.
• Measure outcomes with baselines, targets, and dashboards.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive adoption.
