Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Network Architecture and Engineering organization. You will lead complex programs that strengthen network security, modernize infrastructure, and advance engineering excellence across the enterprise.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. You will translate challenging problems into executable programs with broad network fluency and strong leadership to deliver measurable outcomes across Lumen’s network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible program management in tech/network/infra.
• Broad telecom network understanding and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from definition to handoff.
• Create execution frameworks when scope is unclear.
• Coordinate multi-workstream programs with enterprise dependencies.
• Establish governance, decision rights, and review processes.
• Drive readiness across architecture, design, build, test, and operations.
• Identify constraints and dependencies at portfolio level.
• Anticipate risks and prevent delivery issues.
• Mentor managers and improve delivery discipline.
• Champion AI-enabled, automated workflows for governance and productivity.
