Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to oversee complex network programs within its Architecture and Engineering organization. The role requires translating technical challenges into executable programs with governance and risk management.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Security, IT, and Finance, delivering measurable outcomes for the enterprise in a remote US-wide setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years in complex technical or network programs.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous objectives into executable plans and governance.
• Experience leading interdependent initiatives with cross-functional risks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from strategy to handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks when scope is not fully defined.
• Coordinate multiple programs with enterprise dependencies and executive visibility.
• Establish governance, decision rights, operating rhythms, and success measures.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing across architecture, design, build, lab, test, deploy, and operations.
• Identify portfolio dependencies and organizational gaps affecting delivery.
• Anticipate risks and drive proactive mitigation before issues arise.
• Mentor program managers to improve delivery discipline and governance.
• Champion AI-enabled and automated workflows to improve governance and productivity.
