Job summary

Lumen is a leader in AI-ready connectivity seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to steer high-impact network programs. You will translate complex tech challenges into executable programs, govern cross-functional workstreams, and drive initiatives from strategy to deployment with senior leadership visibility.

You’ll collaborate across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Security, IT, Product, and Finance to deliver measurable outcomes and scalable AI-driven workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• 10+ years of program management for complex technical or network initiatives.
• Broad understanding of telecommunications networks and lifecycle management.
• Translate ambiguous objectives into executable plans, governance and metrics.
• Lead interdependent initiatives, resolve cross-functional risks and priorities.
• Credible across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Security, IT, Finance and execs.
• Exceptional communication and executive decision-support skills.
• Experience using Jira and related tools to manage milestones and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from strategy through handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks when scope is unclear.
• Orchestrate programs with enterprise dependencies and senior leadership visibility.
• Establish governance, operating rhythms, success measures and reviews.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing across architecture, build, test, and operations.
• Identify constraints and portfolio dependencies across workstreams.
• Anticipate risks and prevent delivery failures.
• Mentor program managers and raise delivery discipline standards.
• Champion AI-enabled workflows to improve governance and productivity.
