Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Network Architecture and Engineering team. This role leads complex programs strengthening network security, modernizing infrastructure, and guiding technology lifecycles across the enterprise.

You will translate challenging technical goals into executable plans, collaborate across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Security, and mentor other program managers. This remote-friendly role offers impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of senior program management in technical, network, or infrastructure projects.
• Broad telecom network understanding, including hardware, software, deployment, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from strategy to handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks when scope isn't fully defined.
• Coordinate multiple programs with enterprise dependencies and senior leadership visibility.
• Establish governance, decision rights, and operating rhythms.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing across architecture, build, test, deployment, and operations.
• Identify systemic constraints and portfolio dependencies.
• Anticipate risks across strategic, technical, operational, and financial dimensions.
• Mentor project and program managers to improve delivery standards.
• Champion AI-enabled and automated workflows for governance and productivity.
