Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Network Architecture and Engineering organization. You will lead complex programs that strengthen network security, modernize infrastructure, and advance engineering excellence across the enterprise.

You will translate sophisticated technical challenges into executable programs, requiring broad network fluency and strong program leadership. This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible program management for complex technical initiatives.
• Broad understanding of telecommunications networks and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate ambiguous objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading interdependent initiatives with cross-functional risks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from definition through handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks when scope or funding is unclear.
• Orchestrate programs with enterprise dependencies and senior leadership visibility.
• Establish governance, decision rights, rhythms, and executive reviews.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing across architecture, design, build, and operations.
• Identify constraints and portfolio dependencies across workstreams.
• Anticipate risks across strategic, financial, vendor, and organizational areas.
• Mentor project managers and raise delivery discipline standards.
• Champion AI-enabled and automated workflows to improve governance and productivity.
