Job summary

Lumen is a leading network provider seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to oversee complex, AI‑driven programs across network security and infrastructure modernization. The role demands translating technical challenges into executable programs with broad cross‑functional collaboration and executive visibility.

The position is remote within the United States, reporting to the Network Architecture and Engineering organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of progressively responsible program management experience for complex technical/ network initiatives.
Broad understanding of telecommunications networks and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, high-impact network programs from strategy through delivery and handoff.
Create integrated execution frameworks where scope is unclear.
Coordinate multiple programs with enterprise dependencies and senior leadership visibility.
Establish governance, decision rights, and operating rhythms for initiatives.
Drive cross-domain readiness across architecture, design, build, lab, test, deploy, and operations.
Identify constraints and risks across workstreams and portfolio dependencies.
Mentor project and program managers to improve delivery discipline.
Champion AI-enabled and automated workflows to improve governance and productivity.
