Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is hiring a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5–$50M project on the Canton/Akron sites. The role is on the job site every day and plays a key part on the project team.

You will lead safety, scheduling, and coordination with trade contractors while ensuring quality and timely delivery, partnering with the Operations Excellence team on standards and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent.
• STS-C Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet project schedule.
• Maintains project schedule and budget awareness.
• Ensures safety compliance across all trades, enforcing safety plans.
• Leads contractor meetings and manages field documentation.
