Job summary

Hussmann seeks an experienced service leader to head a team of technicians across a defined region, ensuring top-notch maintenance and repair of supermarket refrigeration and HVAC systems.

You will drive customer satisfaction, mentor technicians, and coordinate training, scheduling, and quotes while upholding safety and quality standards. A strong background in HVAC/R and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Must be physically able to walk distances, bend, climb ladders, lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and business acumen are essential.
• External candidates: 10 years in the field or 7 years with certification; Internal: 7 years with OJT.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians across a geographic area or project to service and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations; understand customer systems and processes.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and mentoring technicians; support in quoting service and maintenance work.
• Coordinate training and mentorship; provide guidance on technical issues and job costing.
• Schedule work for technicians; manage inventory and vehicle upkeep; ensure timely and accurate documentation.
