Job summary

Hussmann is seeking motivated Technicians to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities. You will operate independently, build customer relations, and identify sales opportunities while keeping equipment running efficiently.

The role requires extensive field experience with refrigeration systems; training is provided. Benefits include a company vehicle, bonuses, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in the field or five years with HVAC/tech school certification (external candidates).
• Internal candidates require three years as a certified technician with completed OJT & Skills Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems in retail environments.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision and develops first-line customer relations.
• Manages truck inventory and maintains parts with minimal waste; handles paperwork accurately.
• Performs routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Mentors other technicians and leads HVAC/R PM programs.
