Hussmann Corporation is seeking an Area Service Manager to oversee service operations for the customer base within a district. You will lead field service teams, manage contracts and budgets, and drive customer satisfaction while ensuring safety and quality across all activities.

Travel within the region is required; the role demands strong leadership, HVAC knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
• Strong leadership and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stress management.
• Willingness to travel regionally; 24/7 availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations, including contracts, emergency service, quotes, renewals, and changes.
• Drive customer satisfaction and manage relationships, business development, and issue resolution.
• Develop and enforce safety culture and conduct safety inspections, committees, communications, investigations, and prevention.
• Plan and prioritize service requirements; aim to maintain profitability.
• Develop budgets, oversee project budgets, and identify cost-saving and risk mitigation measures.
• Coordinate scheduling revisions to align with contracts and customer needs.
• Review contracts and estimates using risk analysis and risk plans.
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Support onboarding and development of service team members.
• Analyze market conditions and data trends to maintain strong service performance and relations.
• Foster interdepartmental collaboration and address process, invoicing, and collection issues as needed.
