Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Suffolk, Virginia to supervise field crews, interpret plans, and coordinate labor for complex projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety documentation, quality control, and adherence to company policies. Travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not offered. This role requires a strong electrical background and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Successful pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
