IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks a full‑time Commercial Electrical Foreman in South Boston, VA. The role leads a crew, interprets blueprints, ensures safety compliance and on‑site quality control while coordinating labor requirements.

Travel may be required; a state license is preferred and OSHA 30 certification is expected or obtainable. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of commercial electrical experience or related field.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Background and MVR checks required after offer.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision.
• Documents daily/weekly/monthly safety activities and reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specs.
• Interprets company policies to workers, enforcing safety regulations and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
