IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Richmond, VA. The role involves supervising craft workers, interpreting specs and plans, ensuring safety compliance, and verifying quality of completed work. Travel may be required.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of commercial electrical experience, with a state electrical license preferred and OSHA 30 or ability to obtain. Pre-employment background and MVR checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years of recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers; plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for supervision.
• Confirms completion and documentation of project safety activities reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers; enforces safety regulations and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
