Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time electrical foreman for Chester, Virginia. You will supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers and plan labor requirements on commercial projects.

Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders; ensure safety and quality; document daily/weekly/monthly safety activities; enforce policies on tools and equipment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of recent commercial electrician experience
• State Electrical License strongly preferred
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
• Successful pass of pre-employment background check and MVR check when operating vehicles

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion and documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
