Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Foreman in Richmond, VA. The candidate will oversee and coordinate activities of electrical craft workers and plans labor requirements on commercial projects.

The role requires interpreting specs and blueprints, ensuring safety, and documenting daily/weekly safety activities. Travel may be required; a state license and OSHA 30 are preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
