Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Chester, Virginia. The role involves supervising craft workers, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality on projects.

The position requires 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience, with a State Electrical License strongly preferred and OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain. Travel may be required, and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successful pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision.
• Ensures completion and documentation of project safety reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to meet specs and standards.
• Interprets company safety policies and enforces safety, tool and equipment care.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Travel may be required.
