Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Richmond, Virginia. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

The role involves supervising and coordinating craft workers, interpreting plans, ensuring safety, and enforcing quality standards. Travel may be required across jobsites and sites, with eligibility for a state electrical license preferred and OSHA 30 a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
