IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Suffolk, Virginia. The role supervises and coordinates activities of craft workers, interprets blueprints and job orders, and ensures safety documentation is completed.

Candidates should have 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience, preferably with a state electrical license and OSHA 30. Travel may be required; strong safety focus and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly safety activities and reporting.
• Inspect quality and quantity of finished work to meet specs.
• Enforce safety policies and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Travel may be required.
