Job summary
Reserv is seeking a Claims Team Lead - Commercial Auto Excess Casualty to guide a team of specialists handling high-severity claims beyond primary limits. This role blends casualty expertise with leadership and technology to improve efficiency and outcomes.
You will mentor adjusters, drive data-driven decision-making, and partner with Product and Engineering to enhance automation and workflows. A strong background in coverage analysis and litigation is required.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in commercial auto liability or casualty claims, including high severity or excess layers
- Leadership experience within a carrier, TPA, or MGA environment
- Strong coverage analysis, litigation management, and catastrophic injury evaluation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building with internal teams and external partners
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Commercial Auto Excess Casualty Claim Specialists
- Foster technical excellence, continuous improvement, and data-driven decisions
- Coach on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, negotiation, and high-severity claim evaluation
- Oversee complex excess casualty claims for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
