Reserv is seeking a Claims Attorney - Commercial Auto Excess Casualty to manage high-severity auto liability claims using AI-powered tools and modern claims platforms in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment. The role requires a JD, state licensure, 10+ years in commercial auto liability or casualty claims, strong coverage analysis, litigation management, and superb communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial auto liability or casualty claims experience.
• JD from an accredited law school and active license in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, litigation management, and complex liability evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex issues into clear insights.
• Comfort working in a technology-driven environment with modern systems and data-rich workflows.
• Active adjuster's license; home state license required if available; willingness to obtain all licenses within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex commercial auto liability claims involving excess layers of coverage and high exposure.
• Conduct advanced coverage analysis including endorsements, exclusions, and multi-jurisdictional considerations.
• Issue coverage position letters in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
• Oversee litigation and work with defense counsel to evaluate strategy and costs.
• Leverage AI-powered claim tools to review summaries, severity predictions, and data insights.
• Collaborate with MGAs, carriers, brokers, and internal teams to maintain high-touch service standards.
• Document all claim activity in Reserv's platform and participate in audits and trend analyses.
