Job summary

Lennar Corporation is seeking a Land Development Manager to lead the division's land development program across Northern New Jersey. You will supervise roadway construction, utilities, earthwork, and landscape efforts, coordinating with construction leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of new home sites.

The role emphasizes entitlements, budget management, and compliance, with oversight of HOA matters, SWPPP, and permit approvals through completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new projects on time using construction schedules, budgets, and permit compliance reports.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement process and value-engineer project design.
• Maintain land use and development rights with jurisdictional entities.
• Oversee field operations including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping, and post-construction as-builts.
