Job summary

Lennar USA seeks a Land Development Manager to lead the division’s land development program, directing roadway construction, water/sewer installation, earthwork, landscape, irrigation, and public utilities coordination to deliver ready-to-build home sites.

The role collaborates with Area Construction Managers and the Director of Construction to manage development budgets and entitlements, ensuring timely project delivery and compliance with permits and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.
• Must be detail-oriented and a problem‑solver.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time using schedules, budgets, and permits.
• Coordinate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design.
• Develop working relationships with jurisdictional entities.
• Oversee field operations including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping, and amenities.
• Manage HOA activities including budget analysis and improvements to common spaces.
• Maintain bond and guaranty processes.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver amenities and marketing windows.
• SWPPP management and compliance.
• Review project budgets with the Director of Development.
