Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an experienced LAN Technician III to join our Information Technology team and support end point devices across the organization. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware, assist with device deployments, and ensure compliance with ITIL/PMBOK guided processes.

The role requires 4+ years in enterprise workstation support and relevant certifications; a 40-hour daytime schedule is typical.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting workstations, peripherals and end point devices in an enterprise environment.
• A+ Certification or similar certification required.
• Network+ or similar certification required.
• ITIL v3 Foundations is preferred.
• An additional industry certification in desktop, mobile, network or server technology is required, multiple certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Operations response and support for requests, incidents and access on site at any location.
• Assist with installation, configuration, upgrade, and day-to-day administration and support required for the AHC compute environment.
• Support administration and configuration of end point devices including laptops, tablets, desktops, peripherals, and clinical devices.
• Conduct site surveys, assess and document current site equipment, configurations and user requirements.
• Participate in device refresh and deployment activities and follow change and release management processes.
