Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced LAN Technician III to support service operations and endpoint devices across locations. The role involves device installation, configuration, upgrades, and on-site administration, with after-hours on-call as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT, 4+ years’ enterprise experience, and multiple relevant certifications (A+, Network+, ITIL Foundations). Strong collaboration with vendors and PMO is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
• 4+ years of experience supporting workstations, peripherals and end point devices in an enterprise environment.
• A+ Certification or similar certification required.
• Network+ or similar certification required.
• ITILv3 Foundations preferred.
• Additional industry certification in desktop, mobile, network or server technology required, multiple certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Operations response and support for requests, incidents and access on site at Adventist HealthCare locations.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and administer end point devices (laptops, tablets, desktops, peripherals, clinical devices).
• Conduct site surveys and document current equipment, configurations, and user requirements.
• Be on call after hours as needed.
• Follow PMBOK and ITIL principles in planning and design of device deployments.
• Facilitate conversations with employees, vendors and support teams during deployments or upgrades.
• Work with Project Management Office on device refresh and deployment activities.
• Follow change and release management processes.
