Job summary
Howard University Hospital is seeking a LAN Technician I to act as the on-site face of Information Technology for clinicians, staff, and care teams. The role involves installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading computers and clinical devices, handling Tier II escalations, and providing direct end-user support to ensure uninterrupted patient care across the hospital campus.
You will perform site surveys, support access management, and collaborate with other teams to deploy
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Android and Apple technologies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-site point of contact for requests, incidents, and access-related support.
- Provide face-to-face technical support and user training.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer compute environments and endpoint devices.
- Manage access provisioning and troubleshoot in person to support patient care.
